Throwback Thursday - the great Sterling Sharpe! The All-American and 2013 College Football Hall of Fame nominee had 169 catches, 2,497 receiving yards, and 17 touchdowns in his Gamecock career. His 1986 season sat atop the Carolina record books for nearly 20 years until Sidney Rice in 2005 and he remains third in program history in career yardage, surpassed only recently by Kenny McKinley and Alshon Jeffery. He went on to seven standout seasons with the Green Bay Packers, his NFL career cut short by injury. He now appears as a TV analyst and has partnered with Coach Spurrier the past several years in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge golf tournament (even winning the tourney in 2008 and 2009!) Forever To Thee, Sterling Sharpe!
